Perpetual 39-year-old Jack Benny stars in 15 side-splitting episodes of his long-running series. To the amusement of his long-suffering valet, Rochester (Eddie Anderson), Benny lives up to his reputation as a cheapskate and a narcissist. The stories feature Jack grilling a killer (Humphrey Bogart), buying a too-good-to-be-true bargain suit, celebrating 27 years with co-star Dennis Day and reliving vaudeville with Bing Crosby and George Burns.
