Erotica auteur Tinto Brass transplants Junichirô Tanizaki's novel Kagi to Italy in this soft-core opus starring Frank Finlay and Stefania Sandrelli as spouses trying to rekindle the sexual spark in their marriage. Through diaries, Nino (Finlay) and Teresa (Sandrelli) indirectly convey their carnal desires, leading Teresa into a tryst with their future son-in-law (Franco Branciaroli) … much to the dismay of their daughter (Barbara Cupisti).
