The Keys of the Kingdom

Gregory Peck turns in an Oscar-nominated performance in his second feature film, in which he plays a young priest whose nontraditional beliefs set him apart from his pious superiors (including Vincent Price). Sent to China to reconstruct a ramshackle mission, the maverick Father Francis Chisholm (Peck) comes face to face with a variety of professional challenges, including an invading army of nonbelievers.
