Thirteen-year-old Kenny was born with severely underdeveloped legs, which were co-opted when he was barely 6 months old to replace other bones in his body in this fictional account based on the real disability of the movie's star, Kenny Easterday. Now, a French company wants to make a documentary about the youngster, but when his sister runs away during filming, Kenny makes a valiant solo effort to find her.
