Jimmy Albright (Jeff Saumier) is a young athlete with a passion for boxing. Harry Sloan (Rod Steiger), an aging trainer and former boxer, sees Jimmy's potential and helps him train and fight his way to the top of his division. Problem is, Jimmy's parents don't know about his career and certainly wouldn't approve -- and one of his rivals has plans to eliminate Jimmy by revealing his double life.
