The desolate African countryside is the backdrop for this tense drama. Stranded when their bus gets lost and runs out of gas, 11 tourists take shelter in an abandoned town. As the chance of rescue gets slimmer and their anxiety deepens, an idea emerges: Why not stage Shakespeare's King Lear? But the drama of the play only serves to plunge the disparate group into turmoil as they struggle to overcome both nature's wrath and their own mortality.
