In this searing drama about love and renewal, Megan (Eliza Dushku), an up-and-coming book editor, chances upon a manuscript that has the potential to become the next biggest best-seller. Moved by the tome's themes of passion and hope, Eliza searches for its author (Terence Stamp), an aging widower still mourning the death of his wife decades earlier. The two form a friendship that spurs him to finish the novel, and her to refashion her life.
