A ruthless father will stop at nothing to prevent his beautiful daughter, Maria (Alejandra Adame), from marrying her beloved Lucio (Luis Fernando Peña). Nevertheless, the star-crossed lovers fight for their love amid the corrupt, crime-ridden circumstances that surround them. This modern, urban Mexican twist on the classic "Romeo and Juliet" tale also stars Guillermo Quintanilla, Diana Golden and Humberto Moreno.
