The Last Summer

Writer-director Jonathan Landau weaves a heartbreaking emotional tapestry with a 12-year-old boy, Joel Shuman (Corey Jackson), at its center. Joel's family (played in part by Muse Watson and Adam Pervy) is in a shambles soon after his mother's shocking and untimely death. Somehow, the resilient Joel manages to heal with the help of his friends, who are determined to have one last summer together before the turmoil of the adolescent years begins.
