Controversial upon its release, this snapshot of working-class youth in Great Britain still packs a wallop. Exasperated by his marriage to self-absorbed, shiftless Dot (Rita Tushingham), young biker Reggie (Colin Campbell) hooks up with a fellow rider, Pete (Dudley Sutton). Over time, Reggie realizes Pete is interested in more than motorcycles. Sexual confusion, infidelity and lies move the three players in ways they never expected.
