The Liberators

Sentenced to death for war crimes, an Allied soldier (Klaus Kinski) escapes military prison along with another condemned American G.I. (Ray Saunders) and a lieutenant (George Hilton). The trio crosses enemy territory and settles into an Italian village, where they'll finally learn what it means to be soldiers. When the men arrive, the Italians believe they've been liberated, but the war isn't over … yet.
