The Living Edens: The Lost World: Venezuela's Ancient Tepuis

  (2003)
The inspiration for Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's great novel The Lost World is a uniquely remote stretch of wilderness in Venezuela that's home to a bevy of plant and animal life unlike that of any other region in the world. This PBS documentary tours the richly exotic locale, offering stunning glimpses of the almost surreal flora and fauna and the world's highest waterfall, Angels Falls, which is almost impossible to access.
