This dark, suspenseful film explores the bizarre relationship between two adult sisters. Ellen (Lee Grant) is a successful astronomer saddled with caring for the mentally disturbed Cissy (Carol Kane), who lives in the shadow of the women's late father's work in Africa. As Ellen strives for normalcy, Cissy keeps -- and then kills -- a series of primates in a cage in the family home. James Olson and Will Geer co-star.
