Advertising executive Steve Morgan (Warren Douglas) must leave his job and his wife, Pat (Lynne Roberts), behind after being drafted into service during World War II. Looking to earn extra cash, Pat takes over her husband's old job and finds out how he really did business. Even though all of her newfound associates are pressuring her to quit and become a housewife again, Pat isn't ready to give up so easily.
