A group of poor farmers kidnaps the daughter of a city official, hoping he'll lower their taxes in exchange for her safe return. Instead, the bureaucrat hires a gang of bandits to rescue her, unaware that the peasants have three very powerful allies. Set in the Ming dynasty, this martial arts classic from the Shaw Brothers stars Yu Wang, Lieh Lo and Lei Cheng and features plenty of spectacular swordfights.
