The Man on the Flying Trapeze

  (1935)
The hardworking Ambrose Wolfinger (W.C. Fields), a man who hasn't taken a day off in 25 years, finally decides to play hooky, only to find himself embroiled in a series of misadventures involving a wrestling match, a runaway tire and a "dead" mother-in-law who isn't really dead. This 1930s farce is based in part on the silent film Running Wild, in which Fields plays a put-upon accountant who undergoes accidental hypnosis.
