This chop-socky spectacular stars a young Jet Li, who arrives in Los Angeles looking for his former kung fu mentor, Uncle Tak (Wah Yuen), only to discover his herbal store trashed and shuttered and the old man missing. After launching a search for Tak, Jet soon runs afoul of an American martial artist (Jerry Trimble) who's trying to make a name for himself by wiping the floor with every master in town.
