After arriving at a German prisoner of war camp in Scotland to investigate rumors of a mass escape attempt, Capt. Jack Connor (Brian Keith) butts heads with a charismatic U-boat commander (Helmut Griem) who appears to be the plot's chief architect in this World War II drama. Can Connor decode the Nazis' secret plans in time to quash their breakout scheme, or will the prisoners show him up by walking out right under his nose?
