The Milky Way

  (1936)
Silent-film comedian Harold Lloyd stars in this early talkie as Burleigh Sullivan, a gentle milkman who gains notoriety when he accidentally bests prizefighter Speed McFarland (William Gargan) in a street scuffle. Talked into becoming a boxer, Sullivan enters a series of absurd bouts that, unbeknownst to him, are fixed to help the disgraced McFarland stage a comeback. Leo McCarey directs this acclaimed comedy.
