Danny DeVito directs and stars in this hilarious film about a successful trucker from New Jersey, Vic De Salvo, who pulls a clever scam to become the producer and star of the nation's No. 1 TV show. With the help of Francine (Rhea Perlman, DeVito's real-life wife), who works for the TV audience controller, Vic locates and kidnaps the 200 families who have rating meters on their television sets and manipulates their data. Will he get away with it?
