The Monster

Writer-director Roberto Benigni stars as Loris, a wallflower with an overactive libido, in this Italian comedy of errors. At a party, Loris approaches a woman (Nicoletta Braschi) whom he thinks is "easy" -- only to learn that she's a cop. The cop files a report that leads her boss to think that Loris is the crazed sex killer he's been hunting for more than a decade. Soon, the police begin spying on Loris, and the policewoman goes undercover as bait.
