The premiere season of this Emmy-nominated sitcom introduces audiences to Fran Fine (Fran Drescher), a brash hairstylist from Flushing, N.Y., who takes a job as a nanny for a recently widowed famous Broadway producer. Fran's flashy personal style, distinct nasal twang and blue-collar wisdom make quite an impression on the family as she gradually transforms the troubled household into a home filled with warmth -- and laughter.
