This unique documentary pulls back the curtain on the competitive world of stand-up comedy, following the careers of six budding comics as they set out to fulfill the dream of becoming the Next Big Thing. Shot over an 18-month period, from Los Angeles to Montreal, the film chronicles the ups and downs of Laurie Elliott, Nikki Payne, Dave Martin and others as they go from killing the audience on one night to dying on stage the next.
