Ritzy Newport Beach, Calif., is a place where money, gossip, sex, glamour and dysfunction collide in this edgy soap. Teenager Ryan (Benjamin McKenzie) ends up there after his mother abandons him and lawyer Sandy (Peter Gallagher) takes him in. He finds a new best bud, Seth (Adam Brody), and a new crush, Marissa (Mischa Barton), but not everyone is as welcoming, including Marissa's boyfriend, Luke (Chris Carmack). Welcome to the O.C.
