The Outsider

Andras (Andras Szabo, who also wrote the film's musical score) is utterly directionless in his life. After quitting his job at a nursing home, he latches onto a dead-end factory job. Digging an even deeper hole for himself, Andras then marries a woman he doesn't really love, although he's fathered a child by another. His only form of escape is the music, dancing and drinking in which he drowns himself at a local tavern. Bela Tarr directs.
