When estate owner Jessica Michaels (Linda Purl) takes on a new tenant -- the quiet, well-mannered Danny Summers, aka Brian Hartwel (Maxwell Caulfield) -- her daughter Laura (Stacy Hogue) warns her to be wary of the guy, whom she suspects is not the upstanding citizen he portrays himself to be. She's right: Danny's father was killed many years ago, and he believes Jessica was responsible. Now, he wants revenge.
