Sensing a chance to score big by finding the subterranean source of a fortune in diamonds, enterprising Denae Chambers (Susan Stokey) enlists a team of adventurers to unearth the gems. But they get more than they bargained for when the search takes them to a world ruled by an alien beauty (Sybil Danning) and a horde of cannibalistic mutants. Director Fred Olen Ray's subtle homage to Saturday afternoon sci-fi serials dishes up oodles of in-jokes.
