Mississippi sharecropper Boy Willie (Charles S. Dutton) would love to own the farm where his family once worked as slaves. But to buy the property, he needs to sell the family's piano, an heirloom that his sister Berniece (Alfre Woodard) prizes and refuses to part with. The two siblings struggle over the fate of their painful legacy in this 1995 adaptation of August Wilson's Pulitzer Prize-winning play.
