Shag carpet, buxom cheerleaders and 8-tracks abound in this vintage pair of high school comedies from the 1970s. In The Pom Pom Girls, future Revenge of the Nerds star Robert Carradine plays a footballer caught in an escalating war of pranks in the run-up to the big game of the season. In The Van, average guy Bobby (Stuart Goetz) figures his only way to score is by spending all his savings on a groovy van. Danny DeVito co-stars.
