The Prefab People

  (1982)
Panelkapcsolat
Hungarian director Bela Tarr's starkly realistic drama holds a magnifying glass to the marriage of a young working-class couple (Judith Pogany and Robert Koltai). After husband and wife engage in an explosive argument, the camera zooms in on the subtle nuances within the relationship and the couple's meager existence. Tarr captures the smallest of details, painting a story of a once-happy couple who've lost much more than just their intimacy.
