The Princess of Nebraska

Chinese exchange student Sasha (Ling Li), pregnant with the child of former Beijing Opera star Yang, travels to San Francisco for an abortion. There, she meets Boshen (Brian Danforth), Yang's male ex-lover, who wants to prevent her from having the abortion. With doubts creeping in, Sasha must reevaluate her plans for the future. Chinese director Wayne Wang (Joy Luck Club) directs this meditative drama, which unfolds over the course of one day.
