Chuck McCann stars as a bored projectionist who tries to add some excitement to his mundane life by creating a rich fantasy world in which he's always the leading man. Casting himself as the daring Captain Flash and calling for backup from past heroes of the big screen such as Gary Cooper, Errol Flynn and Humphrey Bogart, the imaginative daydreamer faces off against his evil nemesis, The Bat (Rodney Dangerfield, in a memorable film debut).
