Following plastic surgeon Sydney Hansen (Melina Kanakaredes) as she leaves Los Angeles behind and heads home to Providence, R.I., to help the disenfranchised, this compendium of episodes from four seasons of the NBC series embodies quality drama. Mike Farrell co-stars as her distant veterinarian father, Seth Peterson plays conniving younger brother Robbie, and Paula Cale is Sydney's capricious sister Joanie.
