Jerzy Hoffman directs this European drama set in 1930s Poland, which traces the downfall of a once-famous surgeon. After his wife and daughter abandon him, Rafal (Jerzy Binczycki) turns to alcohol to chase away his memories, roaming the countryside in a fog to live the life of an unskilled man. But when his gift for healing re-emerges, it ignites a chain reaction that could change his life. Anna Dymna and Andrzej Kopiczynski co-star.
