The Railroad All-Stars may be a so-so soccer team, but just taking the field and earning the respect of their opponents is a victory for the women who comprise its members. As hookers who turn $2 tricks in the slums of Guatemala, they don't get a lot of affirmation elsewhere. But when the gals reveal their profession to draw attention to their plight, officials try to ban them and a national controversy ensues in this film festival favorite.
