West Virginia's McCoy clan continues to export their rural ways to their California neighbors and friends in the third season of this classic hit sitcom. Grandpa (Walter Brennan) and Luke (Richard Crenna) get excited when they think they've discovered oil on their property, Hassie (Lydia Reed) takes a screen test in hopes of becoming a star, and Kate (Kathy Nolan) tries to get in the garden club. Edward Everett Horton and Denver Pyle guest star.
