The Republic of Love

Based on the novel by Carol Shields, this comedy charts the relationship of the unlikeliest of couples, Tom and Fay (Bruce Greenwood and Emilia Fox). He's a thrice-divorced talk show host, susceptible to jumping into love. She's an overly cautious academic whose impossible expectations for a mate have hindered her romantic life. Despite their seeming incompatibility, the two soon fall in love and discover that the heart knows no rules.
