Single dad and rifle-wielding rancher Lucas McCain (Chuck Connors) raises his son in the wild New Mexican frontier in this Western series with a paternal twist. Set in the late 1880s, the series follows McCain as he molds his young son, Mark (Johnny Crawford), into a courageous and honest cowboy. And with so many criminals roaming about, there's plenty of action as McCain protects himself, Mark and the locals from the bad guys.
