This popular television series set in New Mexico of the 1880s follows the ongoing efforts of widower Lucas McCain (Chuck Connors) to teach his son Mark (Johnny Crawford) the ways of the world, all the while helping the local marshal catch criminals. In this collection of episodes, Mark blames himself for a friend's death; a crop of cattle rustlers dons disguises during Halloween to help them raid a ranch; and a new deputy stirs up trouble.
