Arch Hall Jr., star of the 1960s B movies Eegah and The Wild Guitar, plays his most famous role here, loosely based on the 1950s serial killer Charles Starkweather. Three teachers are on the way to a Dodgers games when their car breaks down. In short order, they find themselves held hostage by escaped killer Charley Tibbs (Hall). Soon the trio dwindles to a pair, and the two remaining hostages must figure out how to lose their captor.
