The Same River Twice

  (2003)
In 1978, filmmaker Robb Moss and a group of free-spirited friends and lovers took a month-long trip down the Grand Canyon's Colorado River. The resulting documentary creates a compelling portrait of cultural metamorphosis. The film cuts between footage of their youthful, unscheduled lives and the realities of their adulthood today. From running rapids to running for mayor, it's a story of change, choices and finding one's place in the world.
