The Seven Little Foys

  (1955)
One of Bob Hope's few dramatic performances, this biopic profiles vaudevillian comedian Eddie Foy (Hope). A dynamo on stage, Foy quickly becomes one of Broadway's biggest stars, but his success often causes him to neglect his wife (Milly Vitale) and their seven children -- that is, until he decides to assemble them all into a song-and-dance troupe. James Cagney makes a cameo appearance as famed actor George M. Cohan.
