In this Hallmark Hall of Fame production, lonely widower Quinn (Scott Glenn) finds hope for love when a beautiful woman (Saffron Burrows) rolls into his Irish seaside town. But it turns out she's a selkie -- a seal that has taken a human form -- and an abusive man (John Lynch) owns her skin. As she and Quinn fall in love, they learn that Celtic legend says she'll need to reclaim her skin within six months to be able to return to the sea.
