Pierre Rehov's poignant documentary recounts the plight of those known as the "forgotten fugitives" -- more than 1 million Jews who had inhabited Arab lands for thousands of years but were forced to flee during the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. Through archival footage and interviews with historians and survivors of the purge, Rehov attempts to shed light on the fugitives' displacement and the impact it had on their lives.
