Set in Southern California during the early 1980s, this gritty documentary chronicles the explosion of hard-core punk music through live performances and backstage footage of bands like Circle Jerks, Red Cross, TSOL, Symbol 6, Fear and Wasted Youth. Directed by former musician David Markey, this raw look at the SoCal punk scene places viewers in the center of the action at such classic venues as the Whiskey a Go-Go, Club 88 and the Cuckoo's Nest.
