A courageous young Indian chief tries to prevent gold seekers from invading his homeland in this moving drama from Germany. Though his people have been guaranteed their land in the Black Hills, Dakota tribe leader Tokei-Ihto (Gojko Mitic) finds himself in a struggle to keep white settlers away once gold is discovered. As living conditions on the reservation deteriorate, Tokei-Ihto must lead his clan to more abundant land in Canada.
