Convinced that mobsters control the recently elected head of the Reform League, newshound Dick Lawrence (Richard Talmadge) hits the pavement -- sometimes literally -- to prove his theory in print. But in exposing the truth, he makes so many enemies in the underworld that he becomes the target of vicious threats. Talmadge's former vocation as a circus acrobat accounts for his agility in the film's amazing stunt scenes.
