Before the breakup of the Soviet Union, the communist government sent projectionists throughout the land to screen propaganda films. Now that Kyrgyzstan has become an independent country, however, it's lost the funding for its cinema program -- and its people have lost their beloved movies. This unique documentary follows a lone projectionist as he travels the country bringing the wonders of the silver screen to the people of Kyrgyzstan.
