America's favorite cowboy, Will Rogers, is the topic of this documentary chronicling the star's beginnings as a rope-trick phenomenon in a traveling Wild West show, his rise to national prominence and his tragic death in a plane crash. Narrated by Bob Hope and featuring extensive archival footage, rare photographs and even home movies, this program paints a moving portrait of the man who would become known as America's cowboy philosopher.
