Barry Grimes (Robson Green) should be happy; he's just received a promotion at his job. Instead, he's dreadfully disappointed because he hasn't climbed ranks within the Metropolitan Police, which is what he had hoped for. He's now on bodyguard detail, protecting His Royal Highness (Rupert Penry-Jones) while he attends the university. And when the prince falls in love with a feisty American (Tara Fitzgerald), Barry's right in the thick of it.
